As VMad said, you have one turn to escape from it. it's very efficient and the zlogns don't get close to you. And the necros are no different.Try out a necromancer/ dark elf/ orc scout / x shooter / paladin (for res). I think ALL level 4s are very good in this game actually. Besides, demon's new racial ability, fury is so much better than that ball of rage that heals your hp In fact, enemy had way higher chance of stepping into itÄemon having rage balls from killing enemy stack does not fits with Neoline being a mind leader and not a heavy rage user. Zlogn wasn't that annoying, since you know when it activated (the next turn and amongst the last to move, in my experience) and where it will drop. Since Aoe is Necromancer basic attack, at times when I can't avoid Necromancer friendly fire, I am forced to do something else like plague, raise dead or shackle I can't fully utilize plague on the first round because Necromancer does not have high initiative, but I won't complain since he is already very good if compared to many never-been-picked-and-never-will unit - I forgot to mention, Necromancer + Friendly Fire + Halved = F8. The only thing that I am not happy about Necromancer is, his initiative. At later portion of game, summoning unit can provide additional 'meat shield' that can soak enemy aggression and spells. Necromancer is a very good unit, it provide Aoe + curse attack that lowers enemy morale and stats, their Aoe also becomes even more lethal if comes together with that 'halved!' talent obtain on might tree. Its not as bad as trap medal + maxed diversion, trap always seems to block my demon path towards the enemy.
